Pause the cursor over the changes in the document to see when and by whom they were made. Change the formatting of a word or paragraph. Go to the Review ribbon to work with the Track Changes features. Tools > Options > Track changes in menu versions Review Tab > Track Changes > Options in ribbon versions Delete some text.Open the document using the Word 2016 on your desktop computer. Accept tracked changesWhen someone sends you a Word document that includes tracked changes, you can use Word features to quickly accept or reject the propose.
To view and work with the tracked changes: Assign the keyboard shortcut you want to the AcceptChangesOrAdvance command in the Customize Keyboard dialog box (which you can access by clicking the Customize button at File Options Customize Ribbon). You will not see the tracked changes in Word Online, but the change history will be saved, and you'll see a message in your status bar showing that Track Changes is ON. The document can now be opened and edited in Word Online. Go to the Review ribbon and click on the Track Changes button.
You can see the 'Track Changes' heading under the tracking heading. Click the 'Review' button of the program to proceed forward. Track Changes is not a supported feature in Word Online-however, if Track Changes is turned on from the desktop version of Word 2016, changes made in Word Online will show up in the history when you next open the document with Word 2016. Open the Word document to make sure that you access the main toolbar of the program.
